Lynn Semingson is going to start Justin’s new colt so we decided to invite a limited number of people to bring their horse and participate! You can bring your colt and/or any of your horses that may need a tune up or needs help with a problem and we will help you get them started the right way! Lynn started breaking horses at the age of 14. He has over 40 plus years of experience and a way with horses that makes him one of the best! Even if you can’t bring your horse you can come watch and learn! $250 for you and your horse, includes a custom made training halter. $10 per day for spectator. Now don’t worry about it being Easter weekend! We are planning on a cowboy church service on Sunday Morning and an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday! Our Rustics hold up to 6 people so bring your family or a group! Stalls and lodging are extra for this event. Reserve early as spots are limited and will fill up fast! “Cowboy Mounted Shooting”

June 3-4th

The Mid-Ohio Marauders are glad to share our skills and equipment to teach new shooters the ropes. You do not need guns, holsters or period clothing to participate. We encourage new shooters to barrow equipment int he beginning so they have a chance to learn what will work for them.

You do not need an experienced shooting horse or a particular breed of horse to compete. An experienced horse will make the road to being competitive shooter shorter, but is not necessary. We use our gun broke horses to assist you with acclimating your horse. Desensitizing your horse to any type of gun fire before the clinic will improve the odds of success but is not mandatory. You will need to be able to guide your horse through the patterns one handed.

Riders of ALL levels and ages compete in CMSA.

Cabins, Camping and Stalls available Please Contact Smoke Rise Ranch at 740-767-2624

From the groomed pastures and entryway, the well turned soil in the arena and his love shown to the fat ranch cats sleeping in the sun.
